i gave you a good ole sideways bear hug

i love my husband. 

he's so smart. he's so loving. he's so funny. he's so kind. he's so great to my parents. he's so good to piri. he's so good to me. how did i end up with such a great guy. i do not know. but i'm lucky. and i'm happy. the jazz hands, singing in the rain, run and jump to click your heels together kinda happy.

i was going through old pictures and found this. it was taken in 2010, i think, right before going on our long overdue honeymoon to maui. we were in queens, ny, to see a friend's theatre performance. a good friend offered to take a picture of us and instead of him taking me in his arms, i grabbed him first giving him the good ole sideways bear hug.
