we pretended to buy a bunch of houses on hgtv and other happenings over the weekend

we had our date night on friday at a new thai restaurant in our neighborhood.
it's our new thing for this year -- trying new places instead of sticking to old ones (that'll be me.. if you remember this post). the thing is.. we tried out a new place, but i ended up ordering the usual, panang curry chicken. sometimes i just get scared of eating something and not liking it and being in a grumpy mood. nothing gets me more grumpy than filling my stomach up with something i don't like.

we went to mimi and mina's again to get our hair done. i love these ladies. and we get our monthly korean drama/tv show updates from them. it's the funniest.

we swung by mandu rang kimbop erang, a small hole in the wall with great food. i love the lady who owns this restaurant. and i love their tear shaped kimbap.

it was also doing final touches for the baby shower coming up this saturday.
talks about maybe adopting or fostering a dog (new friend for piri! we're still thinking about this possibility)
watching house hunters on hgtv and trying to guess which house the couple will get.
oh yes, and we also saw jiro dreams of sushi. so inspiring!

oh and this one got to eat a lot of bacon treats.
and doing the usual.. you know, stealing our spot on the couch.

    1. We're considering, but I am just really afraid that the foster and Piri might not get along. I think I would feel terrible if I had to bring the foster back. :( We're weighing everything so that it's best for Piri and also the dog we'll be bringing into our lives. It's such a big decision!
